He's one tall as fuck, creepy kid. At first glance, some people may think that Mukuro is a young adult, almost in his twenties. Why? Because of his mature-looking appearance, the deep quality of his voice, and height of 5'10".
One thing that's hidden underneath those long sleeves, trousers, leather gloves, and even his posturing are Mukuro's thin limbs-- he's spent months floating in a water tank with neither solid food nor exercise, and it shows. He's almost unhealthily underweight, and his height doesn't help matters much as he occasionally looks like an under-stuffed scarecrow. Since he's been released though, he's slowly been regaining those lost pounds.
However, what's possibly Mukuro's most unique feature is not his absurd height for a middle school student or strange hairstyle, but his right eye. At first sight, he seems just like any other individual with complete heterochromia, his left eye being blue and his right being red-- and not just any red either, but a deep blood red. However, a closer look at the right one will reveal that there's something off about it. In it is a black Japanese numeral, usually resting at six, so if anyone manages to notice it, it's definitely striking. To some, it may appear as if it has replaced his pupil, but in reality, that part of his eye is still there-- it's simply easily overlooked with the number taking up so much of his eye, and the viewer's attention.

A long-dead French man who looks eerily like Mukuro, though has no relation to him whatsoever, and was the first Mist Guardian of the Vongola family. Spade has hair in a bluer, slightly greenish hue, a slightly different hairstyle, and unlike Mukuro, has both eyes in the same blue color and no strange symbols in the right eye. He's also taller, more defined, and of course more mature-looking, being an adult man as opposed to a scrawny teenager. Mukuro uses this disguise exclusively in Ceres.
• "Sei" (18-19yo)
A random disguise that doesn't mimic anyone specifically. It was crafted to blend in with the elites prior to the caste change, and nowadays among the mongrels. Mukuro only uses this when he's up to mischief, usually of the law-breaking kind.
• Other hair colors (same age)
Some less drastic disguises that change only Mukuro's hair color. So far he's worn dark red and strawberry blond in front of others, but he has also tried out silver and orange as well. He only uses these if he wants to mingle with (read: touch) mongrels without attracting attention or getting called out for violating taboo.
